Handcrafted in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Built to your specifications in solid hardwood, live edge, veneer, reclaimed wood, or quartz - any shape, any size.
GP Furniture Makers builds custom conference tables for architects, interior designers, and corporate buyers who need furniture that meets an exact specification rather than what fits in a catalog. Every table is made to order in our Chester County, Pennsylvania workshop, with a full material range: solid hardwood, live edge, bookmatched veneer, reclaimed wood, and quartz. You work directly with the maker, and the table arrives built to the dimensions, material, and finish your project calls for.
Shape drives how a conference table performs in the room: sightlines, seating capacity, how conversation flows,
and how the table fits the architecture around it.
The most specified shape for boardrooms and formal meeting spaces. Clear hierarchy, maximum working surface, scales from six-seat rooms to twenty-plus.
Built for collaboration. There's no head of the table, equal sightlines, ideal for smaller meeting rooms and executive huddles.
A wider midsection and tapered ends improve sightlines across longer tables. A frequent specification for video conferencing and presentation-heavy rooms.
Rounded ends on a rectangular footprint. Softer visual lines than a true rectangle, with the same seating capacity of one.
We work in all of types of materials: solid hardwood for traditional boardroom presence, live edge for tables with a point of view, bookmatched veneer for grain patterns and exotic species that solid wood cannot deliver, reclaimed wood for history and character, and quartz when the room calls for stone.
Designed, built, and finished in our Chester County workshop. No offshoring, no subcontracted production, no surprises when the finished product arrives.
There is no standard size. Tell us the shape, the seating count, the material, the finish, the base style, and the power and data integration the room needs. We build from those specifications, not from a product line.
Shop drawings are provided as standard. Material samples and finish swatches are available before production begins. We coordinate with GCs and operate comfortably within design-build project timelines.
Every variable on a GP conference table is a decision you get to make.
Shape
Rectangular, round, boat-shaped, racetrack, or a shape drawn specifically for your room. Tell us what the space calls for, and we'll design a masterpiece.
Size and Seating Capacity
Built to the exact dimensions your room requires, from six-seat executive tables to boardroom installations seating twenty or more. We work from your floor plan, not a size chart.
Material
Five material categories, each suited to different design intents:
• Solid hardwood — classic boardroom weight and longevity. Species confirmed at quote stage.
• Live edge — single-slab tops that keep the natural edge of the tree. A table that cannot be replicated because the slab cannot be replicated.
• Wood veneer — bookmatched grain patterns and exotic species not achievable in solid wood. Paired with sturdy metal or laminate bases.
• Reclaimed wood — barn wood, factory floor, and regionally sourced species. Availability confirmed at quote stage.
• Quartz — stone aesthetic with exceptional durability. Available in multiple slab styles.
Finish
We offer an extensive range of finish combinations across our wood species and veneer options. Commercial-grade conversion varnish is our standard for high-traffic boardroom environments.
Power and Data Integration
Flush-mounted power modules, data grommets, HDMI pass-throughs, and concealed cable management, specified for the AV and connectivity requirements of the room.
Base Styles
Trestle, pedestal, panel, column, or a base designed specifically for the table. Base selection affects sightlines, legroom, and how the table reads visually in the room.
Edge Profiles
Square, eased, chamfered, bullnose, or a custom profile. Small decision, noticeable outcome.
A custom conference table is a specified piece of architecture, not a product pulled off a shelf.
Here is how we work:
01
We are contacted by a prospective client looking to purchase furniture. Through email or phone call we discuss the client's needs and our products.
02
A proposal is generated which outlines the furniture choices, contract review, and general information on our buying and making process. Details such as lead time, finishes, size, and shipping will be explained in the proposal.
03
To initiate an order of furniture a deposit is made along with approving the proposal. This serves to book the job and starts the making process in our shop.
04
Once the deposit is received our team provides 3D renderings, sketch drawings, and shop drawings for each product. These are to be reviewed carefully and serve to authorize the final specifications on the furniture.
05
Since colors can vary on different computer monitors we send out samples for approval. These are actual pieces of wood and material with the color and finish your furniture will have.
06
Once drawings and samples have been approved the furniture is ready for production in our Pennsylvania Shop.
