Greg Pilotti Furniture Makers builds rectangular conference tables that provide more than a catalog can offer. Each table is custom-made to your dimensions, in the species, finish, and configuration your room requires. We manufacture in solid hardwood, wood veneer, quartz, or reclaimed wood and we build in technology and power from the start, not as an afterthought.

We work directly with architects, interior designers, and corporate teams throughout the design and production process. 3D renderings and material samples are provided as part of the design phase. The result is a table that fits your space exactly and holds up to daily commercial use for decades.

Sizes & Configurations

Tables are built to any length your room requires. Tables over 10–12 ft are engineered as sectioned tops for freight and on-site assembly; the joint is mostly invisible. Custom widths, racetrack ends, and waterfall edges are all available. You specify what the room needs and we build to fit it.

Conference Table Top Materials

Solid domestic hardwood is our most-specified material for boardroom tables. We also build in wood veneer for bookmatched grain and complex patterns, quartz for a stone aesthetic, and reclaimed wood for character and sustainability. We'll help you choose the right material for your environment, lead time, and budget.

Bases & Legs

Steel bases, solid wood trestle legs, laminate bases, and custom fabricated pedestals are all available. Bases are designed in proportion to the table top and are structurally engineered for the span, not pulled from a parts catalog. In-house metalwork means wood and steel are matched from the start.

Finishes

We offer an extensive range of finish combinations across our wood species and veneer options. Commercial-grade conversion varnish is our standard for high-traffic boardroom environments. Custom stains and laminate options are also available. We send physical samples before production begins.

Solid hardwood is our most-specified choice for high-traffic corporate boardrooms. It is structurally engineered for large spans and built to hold up under daily commercial use for decades. Wood veneer opens up bookmatched grain patterns and complex designs that solid wood can't achieve, and is a practical choice when budget or lead time is a factor. Quartz offers the beauty of stone with exceptional durability. Reclaimed wood brings character and a sustainability story.

All wood is sourced from domestic suppliers, primarily in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We send physical samples before production begins.

Material	Character & Best Use
White Oak	Tight, consistent open pore grain. Takes stain well but prized for natural color. Great for solid wood table tops.
Walnut	Rich dark tone with natural warm colors. Best as natural color for solid wood and veneer tables.
Hard Maple	Light and clean. Extremely durable. Works well in modern interiors.
Cherry	Warm mid-tone that deepens with age. Traditional but not for those who want consistent color.
Ash	Open grain with strong figure. Very durable and cost-effective solid wood option with a yellow color.
Red Oak	Similar hardness to white oak with a warmer, more traditional grain texture. A durable low cost option for solid wood.
Reclaimed	Barn wood, factory floor, and regionally sourced species. Each piece is unique. Confirm availability at quote stage.
Wood Veneer	Bookmatched grain, exotic species, and complex patterns not achievable in solid wood. Paired with sturdy metal or laminate bases.
Quartz	Stone aesthetic with exceptional durability. Available in multiple slab styles and configurations.

Custom Conference Tables Process & Logistics

Custom conference tables take time. Here is our six-step process, from first contact to production.

Contact

We are contacted by a prospective client looking to purchase furniture. Through email or phone call we discuss the client's needs and our products.

Proposal

A proposal is generated which outlines the furniture choices, contract review, and general information on our buying and making process. Details such as lead time, finishes, size, and shipping will be explained in the proposal.

Deposit

To initiate an order of furniture a deposit is made along with approving the proposal. This serves to book the job and starts the making process in our shop.

Design

Once the deposit is received our team provides 3D renderings, sketch drawings, and shop drawings for each product. These are to be reviewed carefully and serve to authorize the final specifications on the furniture.

Samples

Since colors can vary on different computer monitors we send out samples for approval. These are actual pieces of wood and material with the color and finish your furniture will have.

Step 06 — Approval

Once drawings and samples have been approved the furniture is ready for production in our Pennsylvania Shop.

Yes. For large tables — typically over 10–12 ft — we engineer the top in bolted sections designed to reassemble flush on-site. The joinery is mostly invisible once installed. Tables have been successfully delivered to high-rise buildings, hotels, and challenging commercial spaces nationwide.

White oak and walnut are our most-specified species for corporate boardrooms. White oak takes stain and conversion varnish cleanly and holds up well under heavy daily use. Walnut offers a richer, darker tone for more premium environments. We ship physical samples of any species before production begins.

Yes. Most of our rectangular conference tables are built with some form of integrated technology — power troughs, USB ports, wireless charging, cable management, or grommet placement. We coordinate with your AV and IT teams during the design phase so that infrastructure is engineered into the table, not retrofitted afterward.

Lead times vary by material and project complexity and are confirmed at the proposal stage. If your project has a fixed installation date, tell us upfront — we will let you know at the quote stage whether your timeline is achievable. We do not take on work we cannot deliver.
