Each table is custom-made to the room’s exact dimensions and specified in the species, finish, material, and configuration the project requires. The racetrack profile combines straight parallel sides with smoothly rounded ends, offering the full usable surface of a rectangular table while creating a softer appearance and removing the sharp corners that can complicate movement in tighter rooms.

We manufacture in solid hardwood, wood veneer, quartz, and reclaimed wood, and we plan technology and power integration into the table from the start. Throughout the design and production process, we work directly with architects, interior designers, and corporate teams. 3D renderings and material samples are provided during the design phase, so the final table is built to fit the space exactly and stand up to daily commercial use for decades.

The Racetrack Profile

A racetrack top offers the function of a rectangular conference table with a softer visual edge. The straight, parallel long sides maintain the usable work surface and seating capacity, while the rounded ends make the table easier to navigate and reduce the hard corners that can feel awkward in tighter spaces. The end radius is scaled to the table width so the curve reads cleanly from every angle.

Sizes & Configurations

Racetrack tables can be built to any length your room requires. For tables over 10–12 ft, we engineer sectioned tops for freight and on-site assembly, with joints designed to be mostly invisible. Custom widths and end radii are available, so the table is built around the room, not the other way around.

For boardroom tables, solid domestic hardwood is the material we specify most often. Wood veneer allows for bookmatched grain and complex patterns, quartz offers a stone aesthetic, and reclaimed wood brings character and a sustainability story. Bases & Legs

Steel bases, solid wood trestle legs, laminate bases, and custom fabricated pedestals are all available. Each base is designed in proportion to the racetrack top and structurally engineered for the table’s span, rather than selected from a parts catalog. Because our metalwork is handled in-house, the wood and steel are coordinated from the beginning.

For high-traffic corporate boardrooms, solid hardwood is our most-specified material. It can be engineered for large spans and is built for decades of daily commercial use. Wood veneer opens up bookmatched grain, intricate layouts, and design options that solid wood may not allow, while offering practical advantages when budget or timing matters. Quartz gives you a refined stone aesthetic with outstanding durability, and reclaimed wood adds warmth, character, and a sustainability story.

We source all wood from domestic suppliers, with a focus on Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Physical samples are provided before production starts, giving you a clear sense of the material before the table is built.

Custom Racetrack Conference Tables Process & Logistics

Custom conference tables take time. Here is our six-step process, from first contact to production.

Contact

We are contacted by a prospective client looking to purchase furniture. Through email or phone call we discuss the client's needs and our products.

Proposal

A proposal is generated which outlines the furniture choices, contract review, and general information on our buying and making process. Details such as lead time, finishes, size, and shipping will be explained in the proposal.

Deposit

To initiate an order of furniture a deposit is made along with approving the proposal. This serves to book the job and starts the making process in our shop.

Design

Once the deposit is received our team provides 3D renderings, sketch drawings, and shop drawings for each product. These are to be reviewed carefully and serve to authorize the final specifications on the furniture.

Samples

Since colors can vary on different computer monitors we send out samples for approval. These are actual pieces of wood and material with the color and finish your furniture will have.

Step 06 — Approval

Once drawings and samples have been approved the furniture is ready for production in our Pennsylvania Shop.

A racetrack keeps that full surface and seating while rounding the ends for a softer profile and easier circulation. A boat-shaped table curves the long sides for the best sightlines across the table, at the cost of some surface area at the ends.
